About Me
As Director of the Office of Student Inclusion and Belonging at Widener University, I maintain a dual mission of providing engaging opportunities for education, reflection, and action around issues of inclusion, as well as intentional celebration of the traditions and cultures of the university’s increasingly diverse community. Professionally, I have a passion for dissecting the factors that impact the enrollment, retention and satisfaction of students from diverse backgrounds. During my free time I enjoy reading speculative fiction and exploring the hiking trails of Fairmount Park in my native Philadelphia.
My advice to students is to invest in the relationships you build in your classrooms and co-curricular activities. Real community that you can depend on when times are challenging requires thoughtful and consistent engagement. Show up for your friends!
