Get Involved for Academic Credit
Join Band & Color Guard
Keep playing the instrument you love and receive academic credit for it through a variety of musical opportunities on campus. Widener students perform in a variety of settings including home football and basketball games, concerts, recitals, and the homecoming pep rally. Marching band, wind ensemble, and color guard scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate students with outstanding musical ability.
Join ROTC
Widener's ROTC cadre, Dauntless Battalion, produces the next generation of leaders and helps students become the best version of themselves. Whether you participate all four years or a single semester, the leadership and management skills developed will remain for a lifetime. Cadets in the ROTC program are given the opportunity to have a significant portion of their education paid for through scholarships which can include room and board, a monthly stipend, and more.
