Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration

Come enjoy fellowship and learn about this cultural tradition!

The annual Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration is hosted by the Black Student Union in collaboration with the Office of Student Inclusion and Belonging. Join to learn about the symbols and principles of this traditionally African American holiday. Attendees will have the chance to participate in an ancestor honoring ceremony, reflect on the interconnectedness of community, and enjoy delicious soul food.

• Open to: Students, faculty/staff, and alumni
• When: December 2, 6:00 PM
• Where: Michelle M. Davis Belonging Lounge (University Center - Lower Level)
• Registration: Alumni are asked to RSVP for in person or virtual attendance. A Zoom link will be sent to those who select that they will join virtually.
